Bleu Design is one of the most creative design companies I know. The man behind this is Rene. From idea to realisation -in any form- this man can do it! Logo's, advertisements, campagnes, websites etcetera. Apart from this, Rene is an enthousiastic Ultrarunner and cyclist. Located in Utrecht and owned by Aart Stigter (ex Dutch marathon champion) and Ellen Abberingh. A huge running shop with just about anything you can dream of. Especially the indoor running track to test shoes, makes you feel like running on an Olympic track.

UK Gear
Discovered this brand by accident during one of my trips to Scotland in 2011. Bought a pair of PT 03. This shoe was sold as being comfortable on both trail and road. Compared to other brands, UK Gear is able to deliver both (something other brands also claim, but often fail to deliver). Ran the 24h race in Glenmore on the PT 03 just after I bought them: not a blister! Visit website!

This brand is well known throughout the UK, but you don't find it often in the Netherlands. Discovered this brand by running several ultra's in Scotland: i.e. The Fling race and the West Highland Way race. Their running gear offers you the highest quality for an affordable price too! Love their Featherlite jackets and pants: wind-, showerproof and easy to take with you (your Iphone is a bigger package!). Visit website!

This company was founded by Harald Herzog. His company produces and sells the Herzog Compression socks, aimed at prevention and recovery. I started using them two years ago based on the advice of a running friend. These socks truly deliver value for money: I experience fast recovery after training runs and races. During races I can keep going longer without too many aches and pains. Since two years, this is one of the most important components of my running gear! Visit website!
